For those of you who want to install linux,but do not want to undergo the complicated installation or creating a dual boot system you can try a live version of linux.Live version simply mean that you can boot directly into the OS without having to install it first.It usually come in a bootable LiveCD that was created so that people can try the linux distribution before installing it into their system.
A LiveCD has many weakneses.It is slow because you have run it from CD.It function is also limited because it is meant for testing purpose only.
But a LiveUSB is totally different.It is faster than CD and you will have a full funtional OS minus the installation.There are many ways for you to create a linux LiveUSB,but my personal favorite is “Pendrivelinux08″.It is easy to setup and bundled with all the software you ever need (office suite,browser,media player ext).
But before you continue,here is some important requirement:

1. USB bootable bios (any bios dating from 2005 should have this)
2. 1gb USB flash drive or higher (the os occupy about 700mb of space)
3. A fast internet connection(optional  ),unless you are willing to wait .(the download is about 500mb)

So lets get startted,

1. First you need to download the intallation package at http://www.pendrivelinux.com/2008/02/13/pendrivelinux-2008-install-from-windows/

2. Next you need to extract all the zip content to your USB drive.

3. From your USB drive run makeboot.bat.This will make your drive bootable.

4. After that restart your pc and enter the bios setting.

5. Search for a boot option in your bios,and change the first boot device to USB.

6. Save and Exit your change.

7. Done!,you are now ready to boot from your USB.

This whole process take less than 5 minute(minus the download time),and the best part is you dont have to install it.Just unzip it and you done.I wonder if i can do the same with my xp or vista??

Momento is the name for JAD’s magazine, and i am one of those who get the chance to be part of the team.We are divided into 4 group and my group first assigment is to edit all the picture that we will use in the magazine. But then i get promoted (well…kinda ;p )to lead the DVD group. You see, we have plan for an “e” version momento with extra content in it. This is where the challenge start.Making the extra content(picture slideshow) wasn’t easy and I have to spend many hours just to make thing look good.

But now, all is done, and the final work….

My “senpai” did this picture.I only use it. They have done a great job editing this so that we can use it in the magazine and DVD .

They will fly this march but we kouhai will continue with Momento-The second edition.

Well now,i have to get thing started.

Lots of my friend came me to about their virus problem.So i decided to create my own antivirus so that i can automate the process of removing the virus. And here i would like to share it (kind me :P ).Its a simple programme coded using autoit,and it only remove certain viruses (the one that i have caught and interrogate).

I’m new in autoit but i hope this can help you who face the same problem.
